Cockamamy Animal House

Ben recently took a break from splitting and stacking firewood to get creative with barnwood. The result: An adorable A-frame animal house that will give Jake (or any other barnyard critter) a place to hide during bad weather (Jake’s scared of thunder).

The house started with three palettes attached together to form a triangle.

Then, he covered the sides in barnwood scraps.

Next, he found this ridge cap in the pile ‘o barn. He cut it using tin snips to cover the seams on the edges of the triangle.

Pretty cute, huh? Now we just need a “Vacancy” sign.
